Every public figure needs a qualified PR professio Every public figure needs a qualified PR professional on deck — at all times.

Brandy’s recent statement (and I say this as someone who genuinely likes her) missed the mark in a few key ways:
1. It was too late.
2. It lacked empathy.
3. It offered no concessions or accountability.

Leaving the stage without addressing the audience only made things worse:
1. It created unnecessary brand issues.
2. It could impact future ticket sales.
3. It fueled speculation instead of controlling the narrative.
4. It even put Monica in a tough spot by association.

In moments like this, timing and tone are everything. A spokesperson should have been on stage immediately to acknowledge the situation, followed by an official statement within 15–30 minutes.

Silence leaves room for speculation. Swift, empathetic communication preserves credibility! …………. #boyismine #brandy #monica #theboyisminetour
